TIAA Frisco Corporate Center
K-Array · Frisco, United States

The TIAA Frisco Corporate Center was planned to support collaboration, focused work and flexibility across very different workplace settings, from open-plan common areas and a busy cafeteria to executive meeting spaces and a boardroom on the top floor. Each space needed its own AV treatment, yet the building as a whole had to feel consistent and be simple to run. Integrator McCann Systems answered with a single, scalable infrastructure that brings audio and lighting together, drawing on both K-array and KSCAPE technology.
Across the open common areas, Tornado-KT2 point sources and ceiling-mounted KT2C speakers handle background music and paging, backed by Rumble-KU26 and KU210W subwoofers and a mix of Kommander amplifiers: the KA04, KA14 I, KA34 and KA68. The cafeteria uses KSCAPE RAIL R120 fixtures, which combine audio with diffused, tunable white light, alongside Rumble-KU26 subwoofers and a Kommander-KA68 amplifier, so the room can shift easily from casual lunches to larger gatherings. On the 15th floor, the executive boardroom pairs KSCAPE RAIL fixtures with Rumble-KU44W subwoofers and a Kommander-KA68, with lighting and sound adjusted wirelessly through CASAMBI so no wall panels are required. The meeting rooms apply the same thinking at a smaller scale, using KSCAPE RAIL, KV102RX II loudspeakers, Rumble-KU44 subwoofers and a Kommander-KA104 to keep speech clear.
The result is one connected ecosystem in which every component is designed to work together. TIAA gains consistent sound throughout the building, very little visible hardware, a simpler design and installation process, and combined audio and lighting that can expand as the workplace evolves. McCann Systems led the design and deployment from start to finish, showing how K-array and KSCAPE can make a corporate building more efficient and easier for the people who use it every day.
