Life City Church
K-Array · South London, United Kingdom

Life City Church is a congregation in South London that meets in a temporary venue, which means its sound system has to be set up and packed away again for each gathering. The church was looking for a portable system that could still give its live worship full, professional sound reinforcement, without a lengthy setup routine or a bulky presence in the room. Speed, compactness and real power were the three priorities that shaped the brief.
Working with integrator 2B Heard, the church chose the K-array Pinnacle-KR402. This compact system combines Kayman-KY102 line arrays with Thunder-KMT21 subwoofers, so the line arrays take care of vocals and instruments while the subwoofers add solid low-frequency support. The entire package fits in a single compact flight case, which makes it practical to transport, store and deploy in a space the church does not own. Despite its small footprint, the system provides clear, natural sound and even coverage across the room, so the congregation hears worship consistently wherever they are seated.
The difference has been immediate. Pastor Steve Sutherland says: "We can have it up and running in less than 10 minutes." Live worship now benefits from more intelligible vocals, a stronger bass foundation and good definition throughout the venue, and the slim speakers sit quietly within the space rather than drawing attention away from the service. For Life City Church, the Pinnacle-KR402 has become a flexible, professional and future-ready system that supports its weekly services and is ready to grow alongside the congregation. The project was delivered in collaboration with UK integrator 2B Heard.
